Google Pay Published — Integration of Android Pay and Google Wallet

Google Pay

Android Pay and Google Wallet are both payment services owned by Tech giant Google.

Since Android Pay is more acceptable for in-app purchases and the other online payments, while Google Wallet offers a fast and free way to send money to friends and families. Google has decided to merge the two platforms together into one service called Google Pay.

This is a remarkable move from Google and it's even long overdue. According to the company;
 "With Google Pay, it'll be easier for you to use the payment information saved to your Google account so you can speed through checkout with peace of mind. Over the coming weeks, you'll see Google Pay online, in-store, and across Google products, as well as when you're paying friends."

Now, both Android Pay and Google Wallet will share the new Google Pay logo and branding, and that's the major change that will be noticed wherever the above-mentioned payment systems are mentioned. I.e, the Android Pay, and Google Wallet logo won't be shown anymore when making payments, instead, you'll see Google Pay Logo as the new universal branding.

It is worth mentioning that few companies like Airbnb, Dice, Fandango, HungryHouse, Instacart e.t.c are already making use of Google Pay Service.

In a future date, the payment platform will also be available for Tez Users in India.
