How to Use Your Android Device as a Bluetooth Mouse or Keyboard

Do you know that you can use your android phone as a Bluetooth mouse or keyboard without downloading any third-party app to the connected device?

This works on Windows, Chromebooks, Macs, Chromebooks, and even works (maybe)on other android devices(Not Tested) provided that you can pair with a regular Bluetooth connection.

This feature isn't new to everyone as there are several methods to connect a wireless mouse to your PC/device. Unfortunately, most of these guides require software on both ends which isn't user friendly.

The method that I'll show you wIll only require an app on your android or tablet device. All that's required of you to do is to pair both devices just like any other Bluetooth keyboard or mouse.

Quite an easy tool right?

Requirements:

  • Android v4.4 upward
  • Apple IOS 9, iPadOS 13 or higher (only keypad supported).
  • Windows 8 ~ Windows 10 or higher
  • Chrome OS
  • Serverless Bluetooth Keyboard & Mouse for PC/Phone - DOWNLOAD HERE or HERE

If you've got all the above requirements and have got the serverless Bluetooth app installed then continue with the below guides to complete the set-up.

Launch the app and click "Allow" to a prompt that'll ask you to enable your visibility for 300 seconds.

Next, select the three-line menu by the top-left corner to open the menu

Select "Bluetooth Devices" under Connection Management

Now, click on "Configure new device" at the bottom of the screen.

Next, you'll need to make sure the receiving device is on and already in pairing mode or you've paired with the devices before now. In some cases,, you had to unpair the device and re-pair.

You can locate Bluetooth by navigating to Settings > devices > Bluetooth and other devices on your Windows 10.

Back to the app on your android phone; your PC will be displayed in the list of available Bluetooth connections, select it to proceed

Now, you'll have to accept a prompt to confirm if the pairing code matches on both devices by clicking on "Pair"

Once you're connected then you can proceed to tap "Use this Device"

That's it, you can now drag your fingers around the screen to move the mouse on the receiving device.

You can also type by clicking on the keyboard icon on the top-right corner of the app. simply start typing and watch it reflect on the receiving device.

That's all.

Remember that this works on almost all android versions from v4.0 or higher, your PC, iPad, SmartTV and a lot more devices aren't exempted too provided that you're connected via Bluetooth.
